Exports of Africa, 1970-2015

During 1970-2015 exports of Africa in current prices rose by 487.2 billion US dollars (in 21.9 times) to 510.5 billion US dollars; change occurred by 52.2 billion US dollars by increasing of people by 819.3 million, as well as by 434.9 billion US dollars by increasing of exports per capita by 367.3 US dollars. The average annual growth of exports of Africa was 10.8 billion US dollars or 7.1%. The average annual growth of exports of Africa in constant prices was 3.4%. Share in the world dropped by 3.7%. Minimal exports were in 1970 (23.3 billion US dollars). Maximal exports were in 2012 (778.7 billion US dollars).

During 1970-2015 exports per capita in Africa increased by 367.3 US dollars (in 6.8 times) to 431.1 US dollars. The average annual growth of exports per capita in current prices was 8.2 US dollars or 4.3%.

Exports of Africa in 1970 consisted of exports of South Africa (16.9%), exports of Libya (13.4%), exports of D.R. of the Congo (9.1%), exports of Nigeria (7.8%), exports of Angola (5.9%), and others (46.9%).

Exports per capita in Africa in 2015 were equal to 431.1 US dollars. Exports per capita in Africa were less than exports per capita in the World (2 874.6 US dollars) by 2 443.6 US dollars.

Exports of Africa in 2015 consisted of exports of South Africa (18.9%), exports of Nigeria (10.3%), exports of Angola (8.3%), exports of Egypt (8.2%), exports of Algeria (7.6%), and others (46.7%).
