Imports of Africa, 1970-2015

During 1970-2015 imports of Africa in current prices rose by 631.7 billion US dollars (in 27.8 times) to 655.3 billion US dollars; change occurred by 52.9 billion US dollars by increasing of people by 819.3 million, as well as by 578.7 billion US dollars by increasing of imports per capita by 488.7 US dollars. The average annual growth of imports of Africa was 14.0 billion US dollars or 7.7%. The average annual growth of imports of Africa in constant prices was 4.0%. Share in the world fell by 3.0%. Minimal imports were in 1970 (23.6 billion US dollars). Maximal imports were in 2014 (749.2 billion US dollars).

During 1970-2015 imports per capita in Africa increased by 488.7 US dollars (in 8.6 times) to 553.3 US dollars. The average annual growth of imports per capita in current prices was 10.9 US dollars or 4.9%.
