Value added of Africa, 1970-2015

During 1970-2015 value added of Africa in current prices rose by 2 082.2 billion US dollars (in 21.3 times) to 2 184.9 billion US dollars; change occurred by 230.5 billion US dollars by increasing of people by 819.3 million, as well as by 1 851.8 billion US dollars by increasing of value added per capita by 1 563.8 US dollars. The average annual growth of value added of Africa was 46.3 billion US dollars or 7.0%. The average annual growth of value added of Africa in constant prices was 3.4%. Share in the world reduced by 0.046%. Minimal value added was in 1970 (102.7 billion US dollars). Maximal value added was in 2014 (2 423.2 billion US dollars).

During 1970-2015 value added per capita in Africa grew by 1 563.8 US dollars (in 6.6 times) to 1 845.1 US dollars. The average annual growth of value added per capita in current prices was 34.8 US dollars or 4.3%.
